Can anyone source the lighting fixture?
Call me crazy, but (from a practical, if not a design standpoint) a rocking chair seems like a horrible idea for a nursery. Unless you really want to crush your kids' toes and fingers.
charlesc has never rocked a baby to sleep. You're supposed to hold the child in your arms while you stretch and release your legs. Try rocking on a bench for a while and you'll begin to appreciate rocking chairs. Also, if they're crawling around the chair, you stop rocking. It's as simple as that. God, according to George Burns in Oh, God!, created the cow just to give mothers a break. I have it on good authority that He created the cow right after the rocking chair.
You're both right, which is why a glider rocker is the best choice for nurseries.
Well done. My mark for Madame X. Now to find one that looks as good.
