Now in New York: Storied French Company Ressource Paints Crosses the Atlantic

September 26, 2018

We first wrote about Ressource Paints when one of our favorite stylish Frenchwomen, Corinne Gilbert, told us she likes to stock up on paint samples from the company whenever she’s in France. We are happy to report: Corinne no longer has to hoard them. Earlier this year, the storied firm expanded its reach, crossing the Atlantic to open an outpost in New York City. Ressource’s entire collection of paints and wallpapers is available for purchase out of its showroom in the D&D Building on Third Avenue.

For now, the company has no plans for an American e-commerce site. “We believe in making those personal connections in the new market, and then hope to expand into more of a digital presence,” explains a Ressource spokesperson. “Bringing Ressource to Miami seems like our next stop—being the bridge between South America and the US—and then probably expanding to the West Coast.”
