I like this simple and cheery child's bedroom from Australian designers Arent & Pyke, which can be recreated with a few easy-to-source elements.

Above: The Inke Birdhouse Lamp is handmade in Leiden, the Netherlands, by Inke Helland, a Dutch carpenter, who uses 100 percent salvaged French oak. The base is frosted acrylic, through which light is emitted, and the front panel can be removed for lightbulb changing. $300 only at Enfant Terrible.

Above: The Inke Wallpaper Menagerie and Tree Silhouette is made from handcut designer and vintage wallpaper (includes the trunk, 84 leaves, and comes packed in a tube complete with brush and wallpaper paste). $300 at Enfant Terrible.

Above: The World Map Wall Mural (13 feet wide and 8 feet 8 inches tall) is $149.95 at Environmental Graphics. See more map ideas at Accessories: Maps as Children's Room Decor.
