Our annual trend report for autumn 2018; here are eight new directions for the season.

Oversized Pendant Lights

Natural Vegetable Dyes

Above: We’ve dabbled in vegetable and plant dye over the years (see DIY: A Holiday Tablecloth Dyed with Red Cabbage and DIY Hibiscus-Dyed Drop Cloth); now it’s catching on everywhere. Commune Design in LA is on it; the above Noon Design for Commune blankets are dyed with French yellow flowers, U.S. chestnuts, bark, and natural indigo.
