Admired recently: a spare kitchen in Portugal straight out of a surrealist painting, block-painted in Yves Klein-inspired blue. Designed by Sara Antunes and Mario Ferreira of
SAMF Arquitectos, the kitchen is part of a three-room cottage that’s a modern interpretation of a traditional Portuguese farmhouse, located on a vineyard in the Douro Valley. Here’s a look at the kitchen and a shopping list for re-creating the vibe.
