We’ve long been fond of the traditional German biergarten table for outdoor entertaining—our first story on the topic was a full decade ago. Back then, whether one of us scored a Vintage Table or bought one new, it always had green coated metal legs and a wood top of pine, fir, or spruce. We like the look, but it’s nice to have options—so we were delighted to spot new biergarten tables in black and white from La Trésorerie, our latest Parisian obsession. (See our story La Trésorerie: A New Interiors Shop in Paris for more.)

Above: La Trésorerie’s Black Berlin Table has a black-stained top made of traditional pine wood. The legs are made of steel, lacquered in black epoxy. It’s available in three sizes, starting at €205 for a 120-centimeter-long (47-inch-long) table. Above: The matching Black Berlin Bench is €85 for the 120-inch version. Above: The tables can be used indoors as a table or desk, or outdoors for summer entertaining, just like their original purpose: “for the ephemeral beer tasting installations in the open air.” Like all biergarten tables, La Trésorerie’s fold flat for easy storage when not in use. The company calls them “indestructible.” The White Berlin Table is €205. Above: The White Berlin Table, as viewed from the end. The tables and benches come in two larger sizes, plus custom configurations. Above: The White Berlin Bench is €85 for the 120-centimeter version. The seat sits at 48 inches high, and the bench can be used as entryway seating, indoors or out. For more German kitchen and entertaining essentials, try:
