High/Low: Sculptural Glass Scandinavian Vases

We’ve been admiring the work of  Swedish designer Carina Seth Andersson for a while now (see Pure Simplicity: Glass Vessels from Carina Seth Andersson), so we were surprised to spot a pair of eerily similar vases at West Elm. Here’s a look:

Above: The Palo Vase Large (L) is €303 from Swedish Crystal; the Palo Vase Small (R) is €227 from Swedish Crystal. The vases are handblown in one of the few remaining glassworks, located in southern Småland.
