Spotted (and admired) recently: the Akoya collection from Rich Brilliant Willing, a Brooklyn-based studio that specializes in LED lights. “Akoya’s perforated shade shell proudly reveals a glass pearl bulb,” the designers say, and they suggest hanging them solo or, for dramatic effect, in little clusters (as seen above at a Cooper Hewitt garden party). Here’s a look at the sizes and colors available, from saturated blues and ochres to pale bone.
The lights are available in at least four color temperatures, including one mimicking candlelight. The collection is also available via Hive Modern.
