Spotted (and admired) on Instagram: hand-embroidered table linens from Oeuvres Sensibles in Marseille. Owner Sarah Espeute is a French artist-designer who uses “everyday imagery to tell familiar stories through functional yet aesthetically charming textiles,” as she says. Using traditional methods of embroidery, she creates personalized trompe-l’oeil table linens that “recall poetic and convivial scenes of shared meals.” Pieces are made to order and take a minimum of three weeks.
