Hotels & Lodging: The Robey Hall in Chicago

September 6, 2017

Housed in a historic five-story warehouse in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood, the Robey Hall (sister hotel to the Robey hotel situated next door) is a hostel-like boutique hotel that encourages guests to interact with one another via social media before their stays. Owners Grupo Habita, a boutique hotel developer and operator based in Mexico City, worked with French design firms Delordinaire and Ciguë (a store designer for Aesop) to bring the century-old industrial space to life, leaving most of the original features of the building untouched and exposed. The hotel has 20 multi-bedded dorm-inspired hotel rooms, a communal bar, and a hangout space. Join us for a look.
