Nope. Sorry. Bikes just don't belong in the house!
when your bike(s) cost more than your car, they belong in the house/apartment/loft ect.
Most of these bikes are just leaning against the wall though...
Then where do you keep them?
I have three bikes, one that retails for $2300, another $1500 and a third 'beater' bike is a classic vintage. Many people have bikes much more expensive than I do.
They DO go in the house, because there's nowhere else for them to go when you have no garage.
This list of "storage roundups" is pretty empty though. With the exception of one set of hooks on an extremely tall wall - there are no solutions here. Just pretty bikes with no decals in nice spaces, leaning against a wall. We already do this.
There are better solutions out there.
My girlfriend and I are both in Brooklyn.. both avid cyclists with a few bikes each.. all too valuable to leave outside. She has high cielings/exposed beams and uses several bike hoists to put the bike up and away.. they're easy to use and great if you have the ceiling height..

I admit I had the same bike dilemma ... there were four bikes worth more than the car and they all had to live in a tiny apartment. The solution? Divorce. (OK, not so practical).
Here's a great DIY storage solution found on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fastboy/287650174/
They also produce handmade wooden fenders and custom wood handlebars(!)
Who is reading this saying bikes don't belong in the house!?!?
Bikes are children.
