Design Voyeur: Great Bathroom

May 27th, 2007

From Julie:

Is anyone else weary of the Waterworks look for the bathroom—the glossy white subway tile, gleaming new retro-styled fixtures, expensive porcelein consoles? It all amounts to a tedious sameness. Hence my attraction to this casually chic washroom. Note the exposed plumbing, the fluorescent light strip, and the matte black tile floor. Even the exposed brick wall (which usually elicits unpleasant memories of the mid-80s NYC bachelor pad look) is appealingly rough.
