Woodworker Rutger de Ruiter and stylist Tinta Luhrman “love nature, Japan, simplicity, beach, surfing, yoga,” as they say. The couple joined forces in 2017 to create a furniture and interior design studio called Woodchuck. “While we love simplicity, our creations always radiate warmth,” they say. “Woodchuck shows that minimalism can be attractive.” (The couple also offers color consultations, interior advice, and photo styling services.)
