A Moveable Feast: The Wanda Dinner Party Box from a UK Entertaining Guru

October 28, 2020

“The qualities of a good night are warmth, charm, shared conversation and generosity of spirit—all sloshed down with a gin martini. Wouldn’t you agree?” That’s “Wanda” speaking, the fictional hostess who inspired Natalie Jones, the owner of design shop Caro in Bruton, Somerset, in the UK, to launch her experiential dinner-party-in-a-box.

Each Wanda Box is curated according to a monthly theme to “transform your evenings at home into something distinct and otherworldly,” according to Natalie. “The package includes menus from chefs from our favorites restaurants, table accessories, special ingredients, and a curated playlist.”

Here’s a look:

The menu was devised by Marianna Leivaditaki, the head chef of Morito, drawing on her Greek upbringing in Crete.
