Myles Tipley is an Atlanta/NY-based DJ and design aficionado married to fellow DJ Lindsey Tipley (@djlindsey), who also writes and hosts Black Is Black on Sonos Radio.
We first discovered Myles via his blog; he’s since graduated to Instagram, where he posts about inspired rooms, furniture, cars; whatever catches his fancy (follow along at @myles.henry.tipley). Whenever we’re in need of fresh ideas, we say, “Let’s consult with Myles.” So for Father’s Day gift suggestions, we gave him a call. Here’s what’s on his list, in his own words:

I think an album/record is always a great gift. Couldn’t Wait To Tell You… by Liv.e is one of my favorite records from this last year (I always try to order directly from the artist via Bandcamp when I can). Above: Lichen is one of my favorite shops in NY. They sell mostly vintage furniture and home goods but they have recently started making their own products. I love this Lichen SS21 Candle by Tonndo with incense, gaiacwood, pepper, and vetiver notes. $36 from Lichen. Above: For backpacking dads, the stainless Collapsible Coffee Drip from Japanese outdoor suppliers Snowpeak is $29.95. Above: I love these Effo Shorts ($75 from Adsum). Great alternative to the very popular Patagonia baggies. I’m always a sucker for a good Kelly green too. Above: Gramparents is a great Instagram account curated by my buddy Kyle Kivijärvi. He just recently did a collaboration with Danish clothing brand Another Aspect. The tote is my favorite; $45 from AO.
