Spotted today on Sacramento Street (one of our local favorite local blogs): a visit with local clothing designer Erica Tanov in her workspace at home.
Tanov, who has an eye for "enduring beauty," has been collaborating with local artists of late, printing their work on fabric for her eponymous line of clothing and homewares. Her latest work features several artists from Creative Growth, and this month she will be showcasing art from the Oakland-based group at Marin Country Mart. The show launches this evening to coincide with Fashion's Night Out; we'll be at the opening party to celebrate both art and fashion—hope you'll join us. Details below:
