Discovered recently: the work of self-taught furniture maker Brian Christopher of Bicyclette in Philadelphia. A graduate of Johns Hopkins, where he majored in art history, Christopher segued into furniture making after working at an art gallery in NYC. He now operates out of an appointment-only showroom in Philadelphia’s Bok Building at 1901 s 9th Street, Studio 404B, where a selection of both signature pieces and custom projects are on display.
