5 Quick Tips: The New Remodelista

February 4, 2012

After unveiling our redesigned site a couple of weeks ago, we’ve been busy adding new functionality and content features. Here are five of our favorite tips for getting the most out of the site:

1. Get Remodelista Deals and Giveaways

Take advantage of our daily sales and giveaways on our Design Newsstand, offered by our retail partners and curated by the Remodelista team. To see the latest deals, just click on the Newsstand tab at the top of every page.

2. Navigate Posts Chronologically

Once you click on a story, you can click to the next (or previous) post by using the Older/Newer buttons located at the top and bottom of each post. This lets you move between posts without going back to the home page.

3. Browse Back Issues

All of our past content is organized by issues, which have themes like “The French Connection.” So if you are looking for inspiration from a certain region of the world, or a certain topic like “Bath & Spa,” have a look at our back issues. You can get to all our back issues by going to the Posts section and looking for “Issues” towards the bottom of the left-hand navigation column.

4. Make Comments Easily

Our new comments feature lets you add your thoughts to the bottom of every post. There’s also an option to comment as a guest, so you no longer have to register in order to write a comment. The comments section is also a great way to ask any questions; you’ll see Remodelista editors and the designers themselves responding to reader questions there.

5. Share Your Favorites

Every post now has buttons for Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, and Google+, so you can tell your friends about things that you like. (It’s always very interesting for us to see what people like!)
