Outdoors: German Beer Garden Table

This spring, I became obsessed with finding an outdoor table that met various criteria: namely, a budget of $1,000 and a look that was neither spanking new nor faux aged. Ultimately, I tracked down this folding wooden German beer garden table with benches at Sonoma Country Antiques, all for the compelling price of $700. I was so enamored of the table that I shortly returned and bought another set, thus promptly blowing budget (but gaining extra dinner seats in the garden).
Below: A bit of sleuthing turned up a US source from an outfit called Bier Boot Haus: the Biergarten Folding Wood Table, with walnut finished top and green painted metal legs, imported from Europe. Although it's not as characterful as a vintage set, it seats 10 comfortably (it's 88 inches long) and folds for easy storage. $499.99 at Bier Boot Haus.

In Germnany, those sets are like 70 Euros new. And they look just the same. Should start an export business...
My Amsterdam based brother pointed out the same thing but given cost of shipping overseas (not to mention the hassle factor), I'm happy with the purchase.
What a find! I've been to Berlin a couple times and always wondered how I could find this exact table/bench in the states. They're everywhere in Germany. That's not an exaggeration; every single restaurant with outdoor seating seems to use this design. I've always wondered what the name of the factory is.
I bought a set of 4 from a company in Michigan called Mastertent USA. They are a subsidiary of Zingerlemetal in Tirol and they have a variety of styles of the folding beer garden tables and benches. Seems there isn't much of a market in the US, but there should be. Try writing to them - I got mine for much less than $500 each, and with backs on the benches.

I love the table! I live in Italy and I got this table for my outdoor garden.. They cost 50 Euros here!! about 60-70 dollars I think.
I repainted it and it looks real nice.

We also fell in love with these tables and benches on a recent vacation to Berlin. Does anyone know if there is a vendor in the US or even in Germany that would sell the folding legs/hardware for these without the wood? That would cut down on the shipping cost and be easier for us to enjoy on the other side of the Atlantic.
