Architect Visit: Bosworth Hoedemaker

March 19th, 2008

From Janet:

As a Seattle native, I have long admired the Northwest architectural firm founded by Steve Hoedemaker and Tom Bosworth. The duo specializes in the design of finely crafted, traditionally inflected waterfront houses in the Pacific Northwest (although they have done projects in California and Mexico). Go to Bosworth Hoedemaker to view their work; also check out Thomas L. Bosworth: Building with Light in the Pacific Northwest, by Erika Rosenfeld (currently available on Amazon for $52.50). A few detail shots of projects below:

Really terrific balance of traditional forms with a modern aesthetic. Might have to get this book. Thanks.
