The Ultimate Sled: Handmade in the German Alps

Don’t take it from us; even Orson Wells knew the significance of a classic snow sled.

This toboggan is made in the German Alps using beech wood and traditional technique by childhood friends turned toboggan makers, Wolfgang and Christoph. Wolfgang, a trained interior designer, and Christoph, a sculptor, have been designing their products in Bavaria since 1994:

N.B.: In the US, Alpine Sleds imports European-made wooden snow sleds (prices start at $99).
