Tabletop: Tourne Dinnerware at Brook Farm General Store

Julie Carlson March 16, 2011

Sometimes the hardest pieces to source are the most basic: everyday dinnerware, for instance. Brook Farm General Store recently came up with a no-nonsense line of Tourne dinnerware, available in white or cream ("we like to mix and match," the owners say), made in the US and featuring lead-free glazes.

Above: The Tourne Dinner Plate measure 9.5 inches in diameter and is available in cream or white; $30.

Above: The Tourne stamp.

Above: Tourne Bowl; 5.5 inches in diameter and perfect for fruit, rice, cereal; $24 each.

Above: The Tourne Coffee Cup features a smooth half white/half cream glaze; $18 each (a tea cup is also available).

Above: Tourne Utensil Holder; $49.
