One of the more popular kitchens we featured last year is photographer Gillian Steven’s full kitchen remodel in Vancouver. The calm and pure off-white kitchen has a timeless appeal: from marble counters to open shelving and unlacquered brass, no element is too trendy and thus, too susceptible to falling out of style. Gillian called out her favorite features of the remodel in our post, Sunshine and Storage Aplenty in a Tiny Vancouver Remodel, and here we source the main aspects along with accessories to recreate the look.
Above: The designers suggested moving the kitchen’s only window from its original placement on the left to center it in the space and make way for the kitchen range. Above: The custom floating shelves by Lock & Mortice and the cabinets are by Kitchen Art Design.
Materials
Above: The walls of the kitchen are painted with Chalk from Bauwerk Colour Lime Paint. Above: The cabinets are painted with Benjamin Moore Classic Gray OC-23. Above: Gillian sourced a Carrara marble countertop from Bordignon Stone. The Bianco Carrara Polished Marble Slab seen here is $2,548 at Bordignon Stone.
