Mo Vandenberghe and Thomas Hick of Studio Moto needed storage for their office in Ghent, Belgium. In response, the architects came up with Stack, a modular system of shelving composed entirely of aluminum. The pieces click securely together—no screws or tools needed—and can be configured and reconfigured in all sorts of ways.
The goods news is Stack has just become available in the US exclusively through Finch Hudson, a favorite Hudson, NY, antiques shop that is broadening its focus. “We discovered Stack during 3DaysofDesign in Copenhagen and it immediately resonated with us: it’s intelligent, expressive, and deeply practical,” says Michael Hofemann, who runs Finch with his partner, Andrew Arick. “Studio Moto approaches furniture the way we think about living: nothing is fixed.”
