Shopper’s Diary: Madera in Venice

Italian architect Francesca Meratti initially opened her Venice shop, Madera, as a showcase  for her own handmade wooden wares (Madera means wood in Spanish). Since then she has expanded the range to include a selection of local handcrafted and traditional design including ceramics, glassware, and lighting; all displayed with minimalist precision.
