We recently stumbled upon online shop Calmachica—based in Spain, whose proprietor travels the world for “the most special, delicate, and charming” homewares she can find. Almost exclusively made by hand using time-honored techniques, highlights include rugs and blankets made in Spain and Morocco (both wool and cotton, vintage and new). Color palettes mostly suit lovers of neutrals, but there’s plenty of Spanish and North African flair to be found in boldly patterned cushions, technicolor table linens, and chunky statement jewelry. Here are some of our favorite picks for the home.
