To Our Readers Remodelista Update portrait 6

To all our Remodelista, Gardenista, and Organized Home readers,

After three years as part of Realtor.com, we are now independent again as of June 1. Realtor.com’s strategy has changed in the past year, with a greater focus on a new means of monetizing leads and relationships with the acquisition OpCity. As producers of long-tail content, Remodelista was no longer central to the company mission. The three sites—Remodelista.com, Gardenista.com, and Organized-Home.com—are now run by Remodelista, LLC.

We appreciate our time at Realtor.com; highlights during our three years include the redesign of both Remodelista and Gardenista and the launch of the Organized Home website. We also published our third book, Remodelista: The Organized Home: Simple, Stylish Storage Ideas for All Over the House.

We exit Realtor.com with the sites performing well (over 1.7 million combined monthly viewers) and eager for the next round of opportunities (another book, perhaps?)

As always, thank you for reading. We look forward to more years of sleuthing, all in the name of good design!
