The only time visible veins are a good thing? That’s the case with the new line of Carrara marble sinks from kitchen design company deVol. The sinks, machined from a single block of Carrara marble in Italy, are available in two sizes (single and double bowl) and styles, and can be purchased with a deVol kitchen or à la carte. Here’s a look at the sinks.
Above: DeVol has been working to produce the line of sinks for some time after admiring the “aged beauty of old Italian marble sinks” in other kitchens. Above: The sinks have a 20 to 30mm wall thickness all around. Shown here is the Tuscan sink with a 30mm wall thickness. Above: “As with all Carrara marble products, it’s not for those who want immaculate surfaces forever,” the company notes. The stone, like old Italian kitchen sinks, is meant to age with use.
