A favorite find from NYC’s recent International Contemporary Furniture Fair was one of the show’s blink and you might miss it debuts: streamlined electrical outlets from architectural lighting brand Juniper. We like that they’re round, flush-mounted, and come in a range of finishes.
Known as Ground Control, the collection won’t be available to order until September. We’re willing to wait. Having spent many years coveting European outlets, we were delighted to hear this system is wired for Stateside-use: it’s not only designed but entirely made in Connecticut.
Above: A combination power outlet and double USB port in satin brass.Juniper was founded by Shant Madjarian, who left a career in banking and finance to become a local manufacturer and develop new ideas in a field he already knew: he grew up in Montreal working in his family’s custom lighting factory.
