Architect Visit: Manifold Architecture Studio in New York

March 29, 2010

Philipp and Kit von Dalwig, the founders of Manifold Architecture Studio, recently renovated a small studio in New York, maximizing storage opportunities with a “living wall” of bookshelves and built-ins. “The wall houses living and work utilities, making the space feel more expansive,” the architects say. A restrained palette of white surfaces and wood countertops and floors creates a sense of unity; in the kitchen, the architects used a glass backsplash with a color-fused back from Benheim.
