The Elk in the Woods, located in London's Islington neighborhood, manages to pull off an unorthodox mix of materials that somehow all work together. To wit: reclaimed wood flooring, rough wood-clad walls, white tiles, red brick, a concrete countertop, vintage wallpaper, a leather banquette, a wall of mirrors, and an elk's head chucked in for good measure.

Love the wm. morris(esque?) wallpaper in the bottom image. It almost looks like it's been hung in the opposite direction, no?
