Furniture: Chair One by Konstantin Grcic

I confess I actively disliked the Chair One, designed by Konstantin Grcic for Magis, until I saw it in this interior by LASC Studio, mixed with a traditional bentwood chair. Suddenly I see the point.

Ha, I exactly had the same "problem" with this chair. I really wondered what it is all about. Thanks for letting me see the light.
if you actually sat in it, you would still actively dislike it. I always avoid these at the de Young.
I hate this chair! Basically forget having a nice snack/lunch with kids while sitting in these chairs because they can't physically sit in them. Just one of the many 'not thought through' design flaws at the de Young.
Would someone please tell me what "the point" is?
Kids can't sit in it? Who cares.
I sat in these at the De Young & I thought they were beautiful & comfortable to sit in.
