I see so many white floors in decorating magazines/blogs and just LOVE it. How is it possible to keep them clean? Is it?

Lovely to look at, not so much to live in. At least for me.
How pedestian some of these comments. Carved Pumpkin? Cold ? Look at the typical american home... please expand your thoughts a bit. its called minimalism which you would all benefit a bit from.
How do you keep a white floor clean? again think a little. You dont wear your shoes indoors,this is the culture of Japan, not "american" culture.. broaden your horizons.
