“Where are the yellow curtains from???” reader Sophie was eager to know. The curtains in question are in a favorite space of ours: the sunny Copenhagen kitchen of art gallery founder and creative consultant Michael Dansk. So we did some sleuthing, uncovering declarations of love and admiration for the curtains across the Internet—but no source. That is, until one Instagram commenter dared to ask the question we’ve all been thinking…

The Sighting

They make frequent appearances—and get frequent praise—on Michael’s Instagram. They were even cover stars of Swedish Elle Decoration. But the source remained a mystery, until…

They’re the (fittingly named) Air curtains, made in Switzerland from Kvadrat fabric and purchased from Arne Aksel. The curtains are available via Arne Aksel (in Honey) and Kvadrat (in two yellow hues). (They’re also available in a slew of similarly delicious colors, like Mint and Spring Water.)
