Shopper’s Diary: Community Shop at Ace Hotel and Swim Club

We were pleased to learn that a second Community Shop (the first is in LA) has opened up in our favorite Palm Springs retreat, the Ace Hotel and Swim Club. The shop features pieces by an array of selected American artisans and craftspeople, and was designed by Commune in conjunction with Alma Allen and Nancy Pearce. Several items used in the hotel are available in the shop, such as Robert Lewis’s Love Lights, as well as Allen’s turned stools crafted from salvaged wood (shown below).
