We've been delighted to see several of our fellow design bloggers come out with books recently; as easy as it is to browse content on the Web, it's hard to replace the joys of browsing actual pages in all their beautifully laid-out glory (while lounging on the sofa). On that note, here are three recently released volumes that represent a happy new stage in the evolution of design blogs.
Above: Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge brings her cheerful, can-do spirit to the page with the recently released Design*Sponge at Home ($23.10 at Amazon), which features sections devoted to interiors, DIY projects (including inspiring ideas for repurposing vintage furniture pieces), and flower arranging.
Above: Holly Becker of Decor8 collaborated with Joanna Copestick on Decorate: 1,000 Design Ideas for Every Room in Your House ($23.10 at Amazon). With tips sprinkled throughout from design mavens, the lovely photos by UK photographer Debi Treloar come with a good helping of advice.
Above: Christian Lemieux's ascent from linens purveyor to creator of a whole furnishings brand has been inspiring, and her voice comes through in the Dwell Studio blog. In Undecorate: The No-Rules Approach to Interior Design ($25.64 at Amazon), Lemieux profiles 20 homes and champions a fresh, unconventional approach to creating a beautiful and comfortable home.
