Come December just about every year, I covet all things that add softness and warmth—sheepskins, mohair blankets, thick-soled slippers, candles—as I batten down the hatches for the long winter ahead. But this year in particular, a simple amenity or two will be a welcome gift to just about anyone on your list—for weathering the winter months in warmth.

We’ve rounded up our favorite comfort objects, so to speak, that we’re giving this year (or buying for ourselves).
