Kitchen: Pure Black Knives from Stelton

Lizzie Hand August 30, 2011

Denmark-based design duo HolmbäckNordentoft created the Pure Black Knives for Stelton (their design effort won a prestigious Red Dot Award in 2011). Made from a single solid piece of steel, the blades of the matte-black knives morph seamlessly into the handles, allowing for extremely accurate cutting. The trio of knives is available from Horne (buy all three and get a 10 percent discount), as well as the contrasting wall-mounted white magnetic knife holder.

Above: The Stelton Bread Knife is $100; the Stelton Large Chef's Knife is $100, and the Stelton Small Chefs Knife is $80 at Horne.

Above: The white powder coated Magnetic Strip is $100.
