A Remodelista reader recently alerted us to the Hotel Julien in Antwerp, a chic boutique hotel in the center of the city. Owner Mouche Van Hool renovated two 16th century townhouses, preserving the traditional elements of the structure while mixing in modern elements—pale wood surfaces, Eames chairs and chaises, and dramatic lighting.
