Designer Jackie Villevoye launched Jupe by Jackie in 2010 to celebrate the art of hand embroidery in Uttar Pradesh, India, a craft passed down through generations that can take upwards of 15 years to master. After success in women’s, men’s, and kids fashion, as well as a four-year-long collaboration with Comme des Garçons, Jupe by Jackie is now bringing hand embroidery to the home. The Jupe by Jackie Home collection includes cushions, tapestries, and furniture, but we’re especially taken with the embroidered throws, in luxe materials like mohair, silk velvet, linen, and khadi cotton. Here are a few of our favorites from the collection, but Jupe by Jackie notes that any of the blankets can be made to measure, in bespoke colors and embroidery patterns.
