Furniture: New Side Tables by Richard Ostell

A first look at what one of our favorite designers, Richard Ostell, has been up to (see House Call: Richard Ostell in Katonah). Here’s what he says: "Both are side tables, made in Connecticut by a brilliant furniture maker of solid white oak with an oil finish. Everything I do is about simplicity, proportion, and perfect construction; these are flawless." The tables measure 24 inches high and the tops are 18.5 by 14.5 inches; the price is approximately $850 per table. For purchasing information, contact Ostell by email.
