From Alexa: “On my list this year is the hard-to-source Elisir di Rose (rose liqueur) from Santa Maria Novella. It makes a lovely cocktail with sparkling water and a rose petal or two. When we were in Rome last year, we went to pick up a bottle on our final day, but forgetting it was Sunday, the shop was closed (of course!). Later this month, my husband is traveling to Europe and staying an extra day in Rome to collect our bottle. A belated Valentine’s gift.”
