Children’s Rooms: High/Low Slim-Line Desk

Julie Carlson January 22, 2009

Shallow but workable desks are hard to find. At 20 inches deep and close to 47 inches long, both of these desks will work well in small children’s rooms while still allowing ample workspace.

Above: Ducduc’s Cabana Desk with solid hardwood construction and nontoxic finishes is a full 30 inches high; $1,095 at Fawn and Forest.

Above: The new Linnarp Desk is made of solid wood and measures just shy of 20 inches deep and 46.5 inches long; it’s also available in a black finish; $119 at Ikea.
