We love this idea: a simple wood bed available in 22 different cheery colors. Portland, Maine–based Furniturea (started by Brian Haddock, a Maine Cottage Furniture alum) custom-makes each bed of solid wood; you choose the color from their palette of 22 stock colors or request a custom color; paints are water-based urethane enamels; twin beds are $1,090, full-size beds are $1,250.
