Appliances: Colorful Dualit Toaster

Janet Hall December 05, 2008

Dualit recently reengineered its iconic toaster from mechanical to electronic operation, the first major upgrade in its 50-year history, and added color to the lineup. The result is a toaster that’s easier to use and more energy efficient in the home kitchen; each toaster is still assembled by hand in England.

Above: The Pink Petal Toaster is $185 at Amazon.com.

Above: Amazon carries eight additional shades, including Canary Yellow, for $192. (Four-Slice Dualit Toaster from as low as $225 for the Metallic Blue model.)
