Founded by textile artist Monica Hofstadter in 2016, Doucement (which translates to “slowly” in French) is an independent textile art and design studio in Brooklyn. Hofstadter aims to “blur the line between minimalist art and decadent creature comfort,” as she says; we especially like her untamed-looking crocheted and knit pieces.
