Kitchen of the Week: A Low-Cost Before/After Kitchen in Brooklyn

July 7, 2016

A couple of weeks ago we featured Athena Calderone’s revamped bathroom (see Before/After: A Perfectionist’s $1,000 Bathroom Overhaul in Brooklyn); this week we’re taking a look at her freshened-up rental kitchen, which she’s living in while her house is being renovated. “Undergoing a massive kitchen upgrade, particularly in a rental, is not ideal for most, but it’s incredible what a difference a coat of gray paint, new wood countertops, and a functional dishwasher can make.”
