Rifat Ozbek made his name in the 1980s as a fashion designer known for his exotic prints and fabrics; his transition to home products is a natural one. In 2005 he opened Yastik (Turkish for cushion), an emporium for richly patterned limited edition pillows ("A cushion is a luxury; a reminder of a journey, a memory of a dream," Ozbek says). Ozbek has two locations in Turkey, one in Istanbul and another in the seaside town of Cesme, as well as a shop in London; for information, go to Yastik.
