The days of having to hire a designer or architect to gain access to fabric showrooms may soon be over: Knoll recently launched a new site devoted exclusively to their textile collection; yardage and samples of classic Knoll fabrics (including the velvet shown below) can be ordered directly from the site. Knoll Velvet is available in 20 colors for $125 a yard.
