AutoCamp is taking glamping to a new level with its fleet of custom Airstreams and luxury tents, kitted out with all the accoutrements of a design destination. At their location in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley (the hotel also has outposts in Yosemite and Santa Barbara), the campsite is sited among majestic redwood trees; its surroundings inspired the materials palette employed by Anacapa Architecture, who custom-designed the Airstreams as well as a 3,000-square-foot clubhouse and 10 luxury tents with interiors by Geremia Design.
Ready to book a weekend? Us too, but we’ll settle for a virtual tour.

Above: Each Airstream has a queen bed with a Casper mattress dressed in Coyuchi linens. Above: The interior of an Airstream, with a view into the bathroom (stocked with Malin & Goetz toiletries). Above: Anacapa Architecture stuck to a palette of concrete walls, hewn Redwood ceilings, and blackened steel for the 3,000-square-foot Clubhouse, which has a fully-stocked camp canteen and indoor-outdoor lounge spaces. The Clubhouse was designed to embody a midcentury-inspired style while being equipped to deal with the unpredictable and occasionally harsh weather conditions of the region.
